About the Book
The
book, “Building Communities Through Microinsurance and Mutual Benefit
Associations” aims to
encourage community-building through insurance, particularly, Microinsurance,
and Mutual Benefit Associations (MBAs). These two tools are little-known to
the public and this book will attempt to get them known, understood, and
appreciated, in a light and hopefully, understandable manner. The language used
is mixed Tagalog and English, or Taglish, for an easy comprehension by a
greater number of the Filipino people.
